Lisa Theng
As a managing partner, Lisa sees a need to ensure that our clients see us as their business partner and not as just a legal service provider. Our aim is to provide innovative legal solutions for our clients across Asia with a high level of service and support that will help our clients better manage and succeed in their own businesses.
Lisa believes it is important that our lawyers understand the sectors in which they work. She has been involved with healthcare, oil and gas, manufacturing, engineering, distribution, trading, exhibition, publishing, food and beverage and leisure and entertainment companies on a range of issues. She also regularly works with private equity and venture capital companies and funds.
She was one of two representatives for Asia on the board of directors (2016 to 2021) and was Chair Asia Pacific Region (2018 to 2021) in Interlaw, an international association of independent law firms found in 150 cities worldwide. She has been an independent director of companies listed in Singapore, Hong Kong and Nasdaq as well as private companies such as Sunseap Group Pte Ltd and Eagle Eye Centre Pte Ltd. She is a current independent director of Swan & Maclaren Group Pte. Ltd.

Ken Chia
Ken heads the Corporate Advisory Practice Group in CNP and brings an international perspective to his Corporate and M&A practice. A graduate of the the University of Exeter in the UK, he gained valuable experience in business development roles with various subsidiaries of the Hang Lung Group (SEHK: 10) in Shanghai, China and with the Informa plc (LSE: INF) in Singapore.
His extensive commercial background means he can speak to his clients in a language they understand and provide them with the comfort their lawyer comprehends the intricacies and nuances of business.
Ken is passionate about the role of major law firms, like ours, in contributing to the community. On a personal level, he has dedicated time to providing pro bono advice to Parkinson Society Singapore on general corporate advisory matters

Pradeep Kumar Singh
Pradeep acts for corporations, whether they are private or listed companies, on all aspects of their business including advice on structuring their operations, the setting up of the business (such as incorporation of companies, registration of branches or representative offices), compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, licensing requirements, advice and drafting of corporate documentation as well as advice and drafting of documentation on investments, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions and restructurings.
Pradeep also advises companies listed on the Singapore Exchange (“SGX”) on listing issues and transactions including compliance with the SGX Listing Manual, fundraising, bond issues, acquisitions and disposals, interested party transactions, employee share option and share schemes, corporate transactions requiring shareholders’ approval and corporate governance issues.
He is also active in helping businesses to manage their people effectively – the most important aspect of any successful organisation. His work covers the whole spectrum of employment law issues from the onset of the employment relationship to its termination (including reviewing employment contracts and employee handbooks for compliance with Singapore laws and advising on corporate restructuring and termination issues) as well as immigration issues (including the application of employment passes, Singapore permanent residence and Singapore citizenship).
Pradeep is a former Senior Assistant Registrar of Companies and Businesses.
He sits on the firm’s Management Committee.

Quek Li Fei
In addition to Li Fei’s experience in acting for banks on varied transactions and in general corporate law, he also provided estate planning and succession planning advice to individuals, including the legal aspects of wealth management, setting up trusts and off-shore structures. He also advises on charities and other structures in philanthropy, including setting up charities and companies limited by guarantee.
His cross-border work on various transactions, loans, infrastructure, debt and equity issues have involved lenders, borrowers and corporates in many jurisdictions including Indochina, the PRC, Korea, ASEAN, the Bahamas, Panama and the United Kingdom. He enjoys providing clients with clear thinking on matters that are often highly complex.
He is also actively involved in advising on legal aspects of distributed ledger technology/blockchain, cryptocurrency; ICOs (initial coin offerings), including legal and regulatory compliance.
Li Fei heads the firm’s Banking and Finance as well as Private Clients teams.

Tan Min-Li
Min-Li’s principal areas of expertise are in corporate and financial services with particular emphasis on corporate finance, securities and capital markets and private and public mergers and acquisitions throughout Asia. She derives satisfaction from structuring practical legal solutions that take into account the commercial aspirations of clients and their risk profiless, be it helping a client to extract value from his business through a sale or a listing or working on strategies to scale and expand, bringing the business to the next level. Her clients include private companies, from start-ups to established companies and companies listed on the SGX and other international exchanges, funds and financial institutions. She also regularly advises on corporate governance and listing rules for companies listed on the SGX (Mainboard and Catalist).
Min-Li firmly believes in being a valued partner to her clients, as opposed to merely a service provider.

Kenn Lim
Kenn’s practice covers a wide range of corporate and commercial transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, foreign investments and private equity transactions.
Fluent in both English and Mandarin, Kenn regularly acts for companies in a spectrum of industries in various domestic and cross-border corporate transactions.
Kenn graduated from the Australian National University with an LLB (Hons) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance Major). He was called to the Singapore Bar in 2014.

Ge Xiaomeng
Xiaomeng is a partner in the Corporate Finance practice group, she is proficient in Mandarin.
Xiaomeng’s practice encompasses corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate advisory. She has more than a decade of experience acting for clients in a range of corporate transactions across various sectors. She actively advises clients on fundraising exercises, acquisitions and disposals, initial public offerings, public takeovers and delistings, and post-listing compliance matters.

Jimmy Yap
Since admitted to the Singapore bar in 1991, Jimmy had held the appointment of a Magistrate Judge and Deputy Registrar of the State Courts. As a Magistrate Judge, he had presided as well as mediated over a wide spectrum of civil and commercial disputes.
His main areas of practice for non-contentious work are corporate and commercial transactions including sale & acquisition, due diligence, joint ventures, restructuring, franchising & licensing, employment and others. In addition, he also focuses on Indonesia related matters such as market entry, setting up a PMA or representative office, acquisition and joint venture with local partners.
For contentious matters, his primary focus is on building and construction claims especially under the Security of Payment Act, and International Arbitration. He has been an accredited Adjudicator appointed by the Singapore Mediation Centre to adjudicate claims between parties since 2006. Currently, he is also on the reserve panel of arbitrators with Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC). In addition, he is also on the panel of Neutral under the Law Society Neutral Evaluation and Determination Scheme (LSNEDS).

John Mark Chen
John Mark is a corporate mergers and acquisitions lawyer who specialises in competition law.
With more than 18 years PQE from Singapore and the United Kingdom, John Mark’s expertise encompasses a wide variety of corporate and commercial matters including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity funds, commercial agreements, employment, and regulatory matters. His clients comprise from a diverse range of industries such as F&B, telecommunications, card payments, electronics, aviation, financial services, hospitality, raw materials, maritime, pharmaceuticals, freight forwarding, etc.
John Mark also regularly handles matters such as cartel investigations, abuse of dominance investigations, dawn-raid management, leniency applications, antitrust and merger control notifications. He has previously acted in landmark cases in Singapore such as SISTIC, Ferry Operators, Chicken Distributors, Freight Forwarders and Heineken/Asia Pacific Breweries.
John Mark is recognized as a “Leading Competition and Anti-Trust Lawyer”, and “Expert in Competition Law” by various journals including Asialaw. He has been featured as one of Singapore’s influential young lawyers in the third edition of Singapore Business Review’s “Top Singapore lawyers aged 40 and Under” in 2016 and one of “Singapore’s most influential young individuals who “exhibited job excellence and strong dedication” in Singapore Business Review’s inaugural “Class of 40 and under” in 2014. He has been described by clients as “intelligent”, “focused”, “technically excellent”, “a safe pair of hands” and “able to get it (the issue) very quickly”.

Wong Pei-Ling
Pei-Ling was formerly the Head of Legal and Compliance of a Malaysian main board listed company, which provided business outsourcing services to multinational clients across Asia, the United States and Europe. Prior to joining CNP Law, she served as legal counsel in a government asset holding company for public healthcare institutions, advising the institutions on their commercial and technology contracts.
Pei-Ling has over 23 years of experience in corporate and cross-border transactions, and has advised on investments, joint-ventures and commercial transactions in Singapore and Malaysia. Over the years, she has also developed a practice in the areas of data protection, technology and employment. Pei-Ling is qualified to practise law in Singapore and Malaysia, and was admitted to the English Bar in 1996.

Ravindran Ramasamy
Ravi has 37 years of legal experience. He is in the firm’s Dispute Resolution team and handles both civil and criminal work. He specialises in corporate advisory and corporate and criminal litigation work. He provides legal advice to directors and CEOs on laws and rules relating to directors’ duties and corporate governance. He has a wealth of experience in advising local and regional companies on investment agreements, joint ventures, and corporate structures. He also advises many companies on fraud and due diligence measure to adopt in investments and overseas business development.
Ravi has a vast experience advising companies on legal pitfalls and challenges in the Indo-Pacific region. He has also served on the board of both listed and private companies for many years and brings a commercial and practical dimension to many legal issues faced by clients.
Ravi was a former Member of Parliament and has held appointments such as the Chairman of the Government Parliamentary Committee for Defence and Foreign Affairs and Deputy Chairman of GPC for Home Affairs and Law. He believes in serving the community in many areas and has worked with the wider community in various capacities over the years. He continues to serve as advisor to community organisations.

Daniel is an associate in the Funds Practice Group. He graduated from the Singapore Management University in 2022 and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2023. His main areas of practice include funds, banking and finance, and general corporate advisory work. His broad areas of practice allow him to assist you in multiple aspects of your transactions.
Prior to joining the firm, Daniel trained at a leading law firm in Singapore.

Geraldine Zhang
Geraldine is an associate in the Corporate Advisory Practice Group. Her main areas of practice include general corporate advisory, restructuring and mergers and acquisitions. She has been involved in preparing and negotiating commercial agreements and general corporate contracts.
Apart from general corporate matters, she has experience in the energy sector including negotiating terms and crafting comprehensive term sheets pertaining to the supply of renewable energy.

Jasmine Teo
Jasmine is a general corporate lawyer with a focus on employment and data protection law, and has demonstrated experience in corporate commercial matters and mergers and acquisitions. Jasmine’s experience in these areas allows for a comprehensive understanding of clients’ needs and the ability to provide clear, effective legal guidance. Jasmine strives to bring a practical and thorough approach to legal challenges.
In the area of employment law, Jasmine has advised clients on a range of issues, from drafting and negotiating employment contracts to handling workplace disputes and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Jasmine graduated in 2022 with an LLM from the Singapore Management University (Dean’s List), and in 2011 with an LLB (Hon) from the National University of Singapore.

Keagen Lock
Keagen is an associate in the Corporate Practice Group. He graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2022 and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2023. His main areas of practice include commercial contracts, corporate restructuring, construction, and general litigation.
In particular, he has experience advising companies on a wide range of corporate matters, including the conduct of legal due diligence and reviewing and drafting various types of contracts (e.g. non-disclosure agreement, collaboration agreement, sale and purchase agreement, construction contracts).
As regards dispute resolution, he has represented construction firms in legal proceedings under the Building & Construction Industry Security of Payment Act (Singapore).

Nicole Leong
Nicole is an associate in the Corporate Finance Practice Group. She advises clients including multinational companies, listed issuers, sponsors and investors in complex mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and corporate and commercial cross-border transactions.
Nicole graduated from the Singapore Management University in 2020 and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2021. She is fluent in English and Chinese.

Samuel Lee
Samuel is an associate in the Corporate Advisory Practice Group.
He graduated from the Australian National University in 2021 with first class honours and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2024.
His main area of practice is general corporate advisory, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions, data protection, and employment law.

Tan Wee Liang
Wee Liang is an Associate in the Funds and Financial Services Practice Group. His main areas of practice include investment funds as well as banking and finance matters. He has advised fund managers on establishing multi-jurisdictional funds, financial institutions on licensing issues and continuing compliance obligations, and clients on general corporate matters, such as acquisitions and incorporations. Wee Liang also regularly assists clients with matters involving blockchain, cryptocurrency and initial coin offerings, and charity and philanthropy.
Wee Liang graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2022 with a Bachelor of Laws and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2023. He is also a member of the Law Society Equity Capital Markets Law Committee, and Visiting Researcher at the Centre for Technology, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence & the Law at the Faculty of Law, NUS.
As part of his broader interest beyond the law, he interned at a food tech venture capital firm in Shanghai, and completed technopreneurship modules at Fudan University and NUS, as part of the NUS Overseas Colleges programme.

Xiao Yuting
Yuting is a senior associate in the Corporate Finance Practice Group. He graduated from the Singapore Management University in 2018 and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2019.
Prior to joining the firm, Yuting practised corporate law with a focus on cross-border transactions. He also worked as a legal counsel for a global manufacturing MNC, where he advised stakeholders on legal risks in transactions, assisted in negotiations, and supported the implementation of group-wide legal compliance.
Yuting is currently in the firm’s Corporate Finance department, focusing on listing compliance, securities, capital markets and mergers and acquisitions. He is also involved in general corporate advisory work.
