Benjamin Pwee
Chief Business Development Officer
Benjamin Pwee is the Chief Business Development Officer at CNPLaw LLP.
Benjamin is an experienced business consultant, coach and trainer, specializing in business development, corporate strategy, strategic planning, organizational re-design, business process improvement, and cross-cultural management in the Asian region. His other expertise area is in the area of strategic non-profit management advisory for governmental and non-governmental, charity and non-profit, as well as social, welfare, community service and public education organisations in the areas of organisational development, corporate growth, cause marketing and branding, PR, donor development and fund-raising.
Benjamin has over twenty years of experience working in the Asia-Pacific region with various private businesses, state-owned enterprises, governmental and civic agencies at national and local levels. He was formerly a Singapore Government Overseas Merit Scholar, a senior Administrative Service Officer and career diplomat with the Singapore Government Foreign Service (responsible for political and economic affairs of the Greater China and Southeast Asian regions), and with the Singapore Government Ministry of Home Affairs Headquarters (responsible for joint planning and organisational development). He was also formerly the Executive Director for Medical Services International, a global international healthcare professional service organisation with extensive involvements and presence worldwide. He has also held a number of other key leadership, operational and advisory positions involved with developing business growth in Greater China and Southeast Asia, and has personally handled a wide range of frontline business negotiations in the region.
His former and current other appointments and involvements include being a part–me appointed member of the Hong Kong Government’s Central Policy Unit, Special Assistant to the Anglican Bishop of Singapore’s Office, and Assistant Chief Commissioner (Partnerships) of the Singapore Scout Association.
Benjamin speaks, consults, coaches and trains in fluent English, Mandarin (Putonghua) and Cantonese. He is married with three children and is based in Singapore.
