CNPLaw LLP (“CNP“) acted as Singapore counsel to Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad, a Malaysian listed company, on its acquisition (through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Perangsang Dinamik Sdn. Bhd.) of 100% equity interest in Toyoplas Manufacturing (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., a plastic injection moulding firm, in relation to the conduct of legal due diligence on a Singapore subsidiary and advice on foreign investments policies and repatriation of profits under Singapore law. The deal was signed by the parties on 17 May 2019 and was for a cash consideration of RM311,250,000 (approximately SGD102.8 million).
