Nicholas graduated from the University of Leeds in 2014 and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2016. In recent years, he has focused on complex cross-border litigation, particularly company and shareholder disputes. He has worked with international clients and counsel from various countries such as Germany, France, Canada, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, China, and United Kingdom. In 2024, Nicholas was based in Germany where he met and discussed ongoing litigation matters with European clients.

Nicholas has obtained certifications in the area of information and data privacy. In 2025, he obtained the Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) certification, which is an international accreditation in privacy program management. He is also a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). Nicholas also obtained certification in Digital Assets and Intellectual Property Disputes. In 2017, he obtained the Certificate of Proficiency in hands-on data protection officer training. Nicholas has been appointed to the Cybersecurity and Data Protection Committee for the Law Society of Singapore for 2026.
