About Indonesia
The Indonesia economy is the largest in Southeast Asia with a population of 268 million. Despite the effects of the Covid-19 Pandemic, Indonesia’s economy is recovering on track with its GDP growth projected at 5.1% in 2022. Singapore has consistently been among one of Indonesia’s top foreign investors and trading partners. Several bilateral agreements that have benefitted Singapore and Indonesia are the ASEAN Free Trade Agreement (FTA), Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement (DTA) and Singapore-Indonesia Bilateral Investment Treaty (BIT).
