CNPLaw LLP (“CNP”) acted as lead counsel for the successful launch of RV Capital Opportunities VCC (“Fund”), an open-ended variable capital company (“VCC”) incorporated in Singapore. The Fund is an umbrella fund and has successfully launched its first sub-fund, RV Capital Monks Hill Fund, a multi-asset fund. The Fund is managed by RV Capital Management Private Ltd. (“Manager”), a capital markets services licence fund manager in the accredited and institutional investor category.
Mr Amit R. Dhume, Partner at CNP said:
“We are pleased to see the VCC’s utility and relevance to the fund management industry in Singapore. The successful launch of RV Capital Opportunities VCC, among others in quick succession, is simply electrifying. We expect the VCC to make significant in-roads to the fund management industry in Singapore as more and more fund managers take advantage of and leverage on the features of the VCC for their clients and so for themselves.”
