CNPLaw LLP (“CNP’), formerly known as Colin Ng & Partners LLP, advised SGX Mainboard-listed company, Silverlake Axis Ltd (“Silverlake“), in its acquisition of the retail banking software business of SunGard Data Systems Inc, comprised in its wholly-owned Singapore subsidiary, SunGard Ambit Singapore Pte Ltd (the “Target“) and its 7 subsidiaries across Asia, Middle East and Europe. Silverlake is a leading provider of digital economy solutions and services and is set to expand its suite of software and services as well as geographical reach through this strategic acquisition.

The transaction was closed in a relatively short timeframe following a competitive bidding process.
