CNPLaw LLP (“CNP”), formerly known as Colin Ng & Partners LLP, advised and represented Paynear Technologies Private Limited (“Paynear”), an Indian payments firm specialising in payment gateway, in its acquisition of the mobile commerce business of Singapore-based Goswiff.

The acquisition is part of a strategic move by Paynear to enhance its mobile payment platform capabilities and expand its footprint in South East Asia, Middle East, and Eastern Europe.

      Abel is an associate in the Funds team. His main areas of practice are in investment funds, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory and compliance matters. He regularly assists in the establishment and operation of private funds and hedge funds using Singapore and offshore structures. He also assists in the full range of fund documentation including private placement memorandums, limited partnership agreements, investment management and sub-advisory agreements, administration agreements, and subscription agreements.


      Each M&A deal entails the confluence of multiple legal disciplines. That is why we take great care when assembling a team for each deal, ensuring that there is an optimal mix of specialisation in the clients’ identified areas of concern, such as taxemployment and intellectual property, and necessary industry-specific experience.

Once the parties have reached a consensus, we meticulously prepare the necessary documentation.
