GET TO KNOW AMIT

Amit’s practice focuses on corporate law, investment funds, mergers and acquisitions and regulatory and compliance matters. He has over 15 years’ experience in these areas of law.

You will find him to be a lawyer who is very comfortable working across jurisdictions. He advises on investments into Asia and matters relating to cross border M&A.

He co-heads the firm’s Funds and Financial Services team and works closely with fund managers to assist them to establish funds and fund management companies and offer the funds in various jurisdictions. These include private equity funds as well as hedge funds. He also advises family offices on various wealth management issues and legal documentation.

He is enrolled as an Advocate and Solicitor in Singapore, as a Solicitor in England and Wales, and as an Advocate in India. He was designated a Sheridan Fellow by the National University of Singapore in 2004, and was awarded the faculty graduate scholarship.
