Biography

Allan Tan graduated from the University of Buckingham (U.K.) in 1988, is a Barrister-at-law of Gray's Inn and has an MA from the London-Guildhall University.  He was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 1994.

Allan started practice as a commercial & banking litigation lawyer in 1994 at Shook Lin & Bok. In 1998, he joined Singapore Press Holdings Ltd as one of its legal counsels, and has since focused on corporate and commercial transactional work.

Allan has experience in advising and drafting a wide range of corporate and commercial agreements, including corporate finance documentation such as Corporate Placing Agreements, Investment Agreements, Information and Offering Memorandums and Initial Public Offering prospectuses.

Allan's main stay of work now involves mainly corporate finance documentation, public and private Mergers & Acquisition and regulatory and compliance advisory.
