Amendments to the Employment Act
Amendments to the Employment Act (Cap. 91) were passed by Parliament on 18 November 2008 and will come into force on 1 January 2009. These will include new provisions which will benefit many lower paid employees. Provisions which are no longer applicable in today’s labour market will be repealed.
